The Rhode Island Association of Fire Marshal's is a like-minded group of professionals dedicated to fire safety. Monthly, the Association meets to further their education, discuss field violations, conduct public outreach, and network with subject matter experts. There are membership opportunities for fire service personnel, as well as private industry organizations and any other individual/company that supports our mission statement.
- To provide and encourage its members to hold meetings, conferences, seminars, and such other forums as may be practicable for the exchange of information and the encouragement of professionalism among those responsible for implementing fire prevention programs.
- To act as a central agency for the exchange of information among its members.
- To promote legislation and regulations for improving fire prevention.
- To promote the suppression of arson and investigation of the cause and origin of fire and the circumstances surrounding the same.
- To provide information, guidance and education to the general public.
